I'm Robin Hanraets. From Lamplighter Studio I build AI systems for small knowledge firms, and I teach people to work with AI themselves. This is the house; below is what's been built so far.
From first session to production
My story with AI is short and concrete — it's mostly a build log.

March 2026 — the first Claude session.
Not as a spectator — hands-on from day one.

The Illumination Machine.
My intake wizard: bilingual, with an admin environment and follow-up behind it. Runs live in production and is my own front door.

A medical prototype.
An AI assistant for general practices, together with a practising GP — now in a pilot phase on demo records. The doctor decides and signs; as it should be.

Agent systems.
The house itself runs on AI too: research, admin, quality control. I use what I recommend.

June 2026 — registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.
The house stands.
Before that
A good ten years in marketing, with a university background in communication and information sciences. Which turns out to be convenient: most AI questions aren't technology questions — they're communication questions with a plug.
Why “Lamplighter”
A lamplighter used to walk ahead of the dark, lighting the lamps — street by street, a few metres of light at a time. That measure suits me: not trying to light everything at once, but always lighting the next stretch. I come, turn the light on, and it stays lit after I've gone.
I'm the push on the saddle, so you learn to ride the bike yourself.
That holds in the Studio and in the Academy alike. I don't build dependency; I build things that become yours. A system that only runs when I'm standing next to it isn't finished.
