The Academy

Learning to work with AI — in plain language, at a pace that fits, and with a dedicated track per audience. You don't learn AI from a leaflet; you learn it by doing it, with someone walking alongside.

Boomer Camp

The course for anyone who hears the AI hype everywhere but feels the boat is leaving without them. Small groups, calm pace, no homework — and the goal is simple: that you can do it yourself afterwards. First groups start this summer. Taught in Dutch.

Tailored, in-company

A course built for your team or trade: what AI can already do in your work, hands-on, built on your own practice. No standard deck — we start from what you actually do. Dutch or English.

A second track

For anyone in the middle of their working life who wants to get serious about using AI. Name and shape to follow — this one is on the drawing board.

Boomer Camp — the course for 65+

You hear about AI everywhere — in the paper, at birthdays, from the grandchildren. And nearly everything designed around it is designed for the young. Not this course. While the whole world chases the young, we're here for you.

No pressure, no homework, no jargon. You see up close what AI can mean for your daily life — and you notice, while doing: I can do this too.

The course is taught in Dutch.

What you'll make

No theory evenings. You build, step by step, your own little helpers — and you take them home, on your own iPad or phone.

  • A letter scanner: photograph a letter from the council or the insurer, and it's explained in plain language — with a head start on the reply.
  • A manual maker: photograph the appliance, and you get a step-by-step plan. Even if the manual has been lost for years.
  • A travel planner that thinks along with you — from a day out to a far-away trip.
  • A gift helper that gets further than a book voucher.

The goal of the series: two or three of these helpers genuinely running for you. Yours, made by you — we just walk alongside.

How the evenings work

A short series of evenings, in groups of six to eight. Calm pace, all the room in the world for questions. An iPad or phone is enough; no laptop needed. And one promise up front: we never take the screen away from you. You do it yourself, we walk alongside — the push on the saddle, so you can ride on your own.

Honest about the other side

AI gets misused, too. If you don't know what it can do, you're an easier target. That's why one part of the course covers safety: once you see what AI can do — how it helps you and how others misuse it — you recognise it when you see it. Knowledge makes you resilient.

Look first, then join

We start with a trial evening: an evening to sit back and watch what's possible — not a computer course where you struggle along on your own. If you like it, you can continue with the course. The first groups start this summer; exact dates come with the invitation to the trial evening.

Looking on behalf of a parent?

It happens more often than you'd think. Feel free to register interest on someone else's behalf — just mention it, and we'll take it from there, no rush. And coming along to the trial evening is always fine.

Who runs the evenings

I run the evenings — Robin Hanraets — together with a regular co-teacher. No dry lectures, no fuss; we're not a government agency. Every question is welcome; that's what the evenings are for.
